WHAT IS THIS PROGRAM
====================
This program restores native Windows 7 start menu and desktop by bringing Windows 7 explorer.exe.
Start menu retains full configurability you expect from Windows 7 start menu.
This program includes sophisticated lightweight wrapper, install/uninstall/patch program.
You can use it on Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012 RTM or RP versions, any version, any language.
PRECAUTIONS
===========
This program does not modify system files and system protected registry entries.
You can switch back to unaltered Windows 8 UI any time.
Windows 7 shell is enabled only to users which switched to it.
Other users can use Windows 8 shell without any problems.
LIMITATIONS
===========
* Metro (Modern) UI is not loaded into memory. As a bonus you save dozens MB of RAM.
* Metro UI screens and programs are unavailable.
* Toasts (like "You have new program to handle this stuff") won't show. You need to use Default programs to change associations.
* You may get more UAC prompts.
* No default language input indicator. Enable language bar via Control Panel->Language->Advanced Settings->Use desktop language bar.
* No multi-monitor taskbars. Maybe more multimon issues.
* No immersive hotkeys (Win+X, Win+PrtScr too).
* To add new user, run netplwiz.exe.
INSTALLATION
============
Launch Ex7ForW8_setup.exe. Follow instructions.
You'll need Windows 7 installation DVD or files ready; keep in mind that they should be same language and bitness.
Ex7forW8 install requires admin privileges. Users without admin rights should 'Run as administrator' it.
After installation, shell can be configured by all users for themselves, without administrator rights.
UNINSTALLATION
==============
Uninstall program from Programs and Features. If you're using portable install, just switch shell to Windows 8 and delete folder.
Uninstallation requires administrator rights.

HOW:
1.
Merge Take Ownership.reg.
Goto C:\Windows, Take Ownership Of System32, SysWOW64, Folders.
2.
Open Aero Glass Setup.cmd, Select 1.
Goto, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Control Panel\Glass Colorization
Take Permissions Of All Folders, Delete All Folders, Merge Glass Colorization.reg.
3.
Copy Aero Glass Menu.cmd Shortcut, onto Desktop.
Copy Patchex7-b7, to C:\Program Files.
Open Aero Glass Setup.cmd, Select 2, & wait Select 7, & Yes (WILL SIGN OUT).
4.
Open Aero Glass Menu.cmd, & Select 2
NOTES:
Aero Glass Menu.cmd, is for Aero Glass Mode.
Commands 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, MUST BE USED IN AERO GLASS MODE.
Auto Run Commands, (7) is for any thing that wants to Auto Run (e.g Auto Restart, Shut down, and so on is a NO, NO, IN AERO GLASS MODE.)
Set Firefox as Default Browse. (Programs\Set Default Programs)
UNTIL WIN8RP uDWM.dll IS PATCHED FOR WIN8RTM.
IF you want Aero Glass:
After running commands 3, 4, 5, 7, Run commands 1, & 2,
After running command 8, Run commands 2,
IF COMPUTER WILL NOT BOOT TO DESKTOP: (When you have made a error, some where).
BOOT Win8RTM DISC:
GOTO: Next,Repair Your Computer,Troubleshoot,Advanced Options,Command Prompt. TYPE: Regedit.
GOTO:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (Click On It).
File (Above The Word Computer).
Load Hive (Click On It).
Computer
Local Disk (C:) (Find The Disk With Win8 On).
GOTO:
C:\Windows\System32 (& Find).

RIGTH CLICK,PROPERTIES - MAY HAVE TO REMOVE RTM
RENAME v6.2.9200.16384

RIGTH CLICK,PROPERTIES - MAY HAVE TO REMOVE RTM OR RP
GOTO:
Continue(Exit to Windows 8) Will Boot To Desktop.

IF you want Aero Glass:
OPEN Aero Glass Menu.cmd, Select 1 (WILL SIGN OUT).

Click Desktop to Sign In (Black Screen Is Normal With This Hack).
Run Glass Activate.cmd.

7.
Running IE10 When In Glass, Glass Activate, Mode Run IE10.cmd (As administrator).
Do Not Close IE10.cmd, When IE10 Is Closed Click On IE10.cmd & Press Enter (Pc Will Sign Out).
Sign In & Run Glass Activate.cmd (Only Use IE10.cmd IN Glass, Glass Activate, Mode).

NOTES:
Add Aero8Tuner Made By Happy Bulldozer In Tools (Folder) Can Help With Themes (Color).
Run all cmds As administrator.

WARNING:When In Glass, Glass Activate, Mode.
Do Not Run IE10 AS Default Internet Program Goto Default Programs,Set your default programs, Set Firefox as Default.
No Auto Sign Outs.
No Auto Restarts.
No Auto Shutdowns.
No Install Programs With Auto Restart Or Uninstall Programs With Auto Restart.
No Usb Sticks With Auto Run.

THESE limitations ARE NOT HERE BECAUSE THEY ARE BROKEN, THEY ARE THERE BECAUSE OFF BOOT limitations.

Type:
Regedit

Goto:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (Click On It).
File (Above The Word Computer).
Load Hive.
Computer.
Local Disk (C:) (Find The Disk With Win8 On).

Goto:
C:\Windows\System32\uDWM.dll

Rename uDWM.dll TO uDWM.dllRP
Rename uDWM.dllRTM TO uDWM.dll
Now Click Close,Close,Close,Continue(Exit to Windows 8) Will Boot To Desktop.

用Patchex7-b6对Win8RTM改版，成功再现Aero玻璃效果！

[破解]
1.
合并 Take Ownership.reg.
进 C:\Windows 获取 System32 和 SysWOW64 文件夹的所有权
2.
打开 regedit 并找到 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Control Panel\Glass Colorization.
获取所有文件夹许可—删除所有—合并 Glass Colorization.reg
3.
复制粘贴 Patchex7-b6 到 C:\Program Files
运行 Themes.cmd—选 7 (机器会注销)
运行 System32.cmd (机器会重启)
4.
运行 Glass Activate.cmd
5.
要注销，运行 Pc Sign out.cmd
要重启，运行 Pc Restart.cmd
要关机，运行 Pc Shutdown.cmd
6.
用过5.当中的任何.cmd文件，请运行 Glass.cmd (机器会注销)。
点击桌面以重启 (用此破解，黑屏是自然的啦)。
运行 Glass Activate.cmd。

[警示]
一旦处于Glass、Glass Activate状态——
不要运行IE10。到默认程序中，设置默认程序，设置 Firefox 为默认。
不要自动注销。
不要自动重启。
不要自动关机。
自动重启后，不要安装、卸载程序。
不要自动运行U盘。

[修复]
一旦黑屏，请用Win8RTM系统盘重启：
步骤：下一步－修复计算机－疑难解答－高级选项－命令提示符
输入：
Regedit
找到：
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (点击它)。
菜单栏中的文件 (在计算机图标上边)
载入配置单元。
计算机。
本地磁盘 (C:) (找到Win8系统所在盘)。
找到：
C:\Windows\System32\uDWM.dll
改名 uDWM.dll 为 uDWM.dllRTM
改名 uDWM.dllRP 为 uDWM.dll
现在点关闭，关闭，关闭，继续(退出到Windows 8)，将重启到桌面。

在PE 下即可获得所有权限。可直接删除，加载新的REG。

B4版本治AERO已经不错了，B5版win7、win8切换explorer.exe很方便，B4、B5合奏更好！
