[求教]关于WinPE内核版本的疑惑

很久以来，一直对PE内核版本存在疑惑

1、1.0是基于XP原始发布版本的，这个好像没有异议，不能直接安装Vista
2、1.5是基于XP SP2版本的，也有说是Win2003的，这个有很严重的异议，能否直接安装Vista也有异议
3、2.0是基于VISTA版本的，这个没有异议。

在此想请各位高手给个正确的解释，最好说明下各个版本内核的主要区别，非常感谢！！

另1，毛桃的撒手不管和小马兄弟的V7，都是基于哪个内核的？

1.5就是2003的，1.2才是XPSP2的。
1.5可以装WIN7。

1.5就是2003的，1.5可以直接装 WIN7，vista，win2008 。

64位的也能对付着安装

XP SP3的，可以算是1.4的内核。

1.5是基于2003 sp1的， 1.2是基于xp sp1或者2003 rtm的，另外传说中的基于安腾版winxp的winpe也是winpe 1.2。

至于xp sp2的pe 是winpe 1.4(xp sp3的pe微软没给版本号，但与xp sp2的winpe 1.4基本无差别，所以仍旧看作winpe 1.4)

winpe 1.5及以上版本才可以安装vista /win7

WinPE was originally intended to be used only as a pre-installation platform for deploying Microsoft Windows operating systems, specifically to replace DOS in this respect. In later versions WinPE has developed into a platform for the following uses:

Deployment of workstations and servers in large corporations as well as pre-installation by system builders of workstations and servers to be sold to end users.
Recovery platform to run 32-bit or 64-bit recovery tools such as Sysinternals ERD Commander or the Windows Recovery Environment (Windows RE).
Platform for running 3rd party 32-bit or 64-bit disk cloning utilities.
The package can be used for developer testing or as a recovery CD/DVD for system administrators. Many people[who?] on the Internet have created customized WinPE boot CDs and included other third-party applications for different uses.

Version 2.0 introduced a number of improvements and extended the availability of WinPE to all customers, not just corporate enterprise customers by downloading and installing Microsoft's Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK).

The current version is 2.1, based on the Windows Vista SP1 and Windows Server 2008 kernel.

It was originally designed and built by a small team of engineers in Microsoft's Windows Deployment team, including Vijay Jayaseelan, Ryan Burkhardt, and Richard Bond.[1]

Built from Windows Vista, this version differs from previous versions in that it does not require a source CD as the files are built into the initial installation of the toolkit. This means that the download is now 900MB instead of the 60MB or so of the earlier versions. It is possible to modify the bootable image created to contain a variety of plug-ins such as WMI access, Windows Scripting Host (WSH), additional drivers and other 32-bit applications (or 64-bit for the 64-bit version). Other new features include the ability to use a re-writeable RAM disk (WinPE 1.x versions used a read-only RAM disk), and the hot-plugging of extra peripherals such as USB flash drives.

这是我在中文维基上找到的，好像如楼上的有点区别（PE1.2，楼上说的是Windows Server 2003 Family）：


WinPE 版本
WinPE有不同版本：
1.0：基于最初的Microsoft Windows XP Professional。
1.1：基于Microsoft Windows XP Professional 含Service Pack 1 （SP1）。
1.2：基于Microsoft Windows Server 2003。
1.5（2004）：基于Microsoft Windows XP Professional 含Service Pack 2 （SP2）。
1.6（2005）：基于Microsoft Windows Server 2003 含Service Pack 1 （SP1）。
2.0（2006）：基于Microsoft Windows Vista。

wiki上的基本没问题，不过winpe 2004/2005是winpe 1.4/1.5还是winpe 1.5/1.6，微软并没有明确给版本号。

可以参考下面的截图，取自winpe 2005的help，另外winpe 1.2不光支持2003，还支持xp rtm/sp1，以及xp ia-64（安腾版xp）

反对，1.5是xp_sp2的，1.6是2003_sp1的，1.2是2003 （no-sp)的，1.1是xp sp1,1.0是xp(no-sp)

兄弟用的winpe.chm比我手上的还要新写，能否提供下。。

win7其实和Vista差不多是同一代的核心(类似于2003和xp)，所以个人认为称它为PE3.0不太合适，2.5才符合它的身份。

这个是微软这么称的，就随官方称呼吧

否则我觉得windows 7都名不副实，nt 6.1怎么能叫7
