Featuring in a non-exhaustive list (since last one from 21th January 2008):

Kernel/Drivers:
- Update to Linux 2.6.24.3
- Remove old legacy PATA (IDE) stack, use new one
- Modules auto-loading support.
- Drivers are no longer built-in. Most now are modules (ACPI, ALSA, DVB, TV, WiFi, FireWire, USB ...).
- New /etc/modprobe.d directory for modules configuration (blacklist ...)
- ALSA 1.0.16
- 16bits PCMCIA cards support
- p54 usb wifi drivers
- Major TV/DVB card loading/init changes (please test !!)

Xorg:
- Driver Intel 2.2.1
- Driver nouveau has been removed, nv is restored v2.17 (for nVidia cards).
- Driver for AMD GeodeLX.
- Driver ATI 6.8.0
- Driver for Trident.

MPlayer:
- Upgrade to MPlayer r25980
- FTP Streams support.
- GOOM Audio Visualization
- Subtitle scaling works again.

Network:
- Upgrade to Samba 3.0.28
- Fix Samba static shares support
- NFS v3/4 support

Install:
- Fix installator (should now work fine)
- Introduce configurator, a new tool to reconfigure an already installed GeeXboX (no more need to reinstall).
- Internationalization of installator/configurator (send your translations files of en.config and en.install files).

IMPORTANT: This release has MAJOR MASSIVE configuration changes related to drivers and modules loading. Please report any new bugs !!!

EDIT
ChangeLog from new version from 03/11:
- Don't let autoplay assume that everything it can not recognize is a VCD,
- Support for ATL2 Gigabit NIC (EeePC Network card)
- Complete EeePC support (Ethernet, Overclocked CPU, Hotkeys but no WiFi and it's not going to come anytime soon)
- Hopefully fix some shutdown issue
- Add ACPI daemon
- Update of generator (no more need to deactivate apparmor and various fixes with install)
- Upgrade of BusyBox (hopefully fix some copy issues)
