发现一个新的PE制作工具：WinBuilder

刚刚下载回来试用，感觉功能比Bart‘PE强。还自带了一个Qmenu的虚拟机，制作好了马上自动测试！

默认制作的PE只有50M，比BartPE小很多！

官方介绍：

WinBuilder is an application designed to create bootable environments and contains two projects based on Microsoft Windows (tm) XP/2003.

The Standard Project is designed to create a 31~70Mb ISO file, wich contains Explorer as default shell.

PicoXP is a project targeted to create the smallest running Windows XP/2003 (tm) possible. Achieving sizes around 14MB and still enabling full acess NTFS drives using cmd.exe as shell.


All tools are included inside the release, and you only need to provide your Install CD to make everything work. Once the project has been created, a PC emulator will run to check the results.

Description:
WinBuilder is an application designed to create small bootable windows environments.
In the download link a standard set of scripts is included, wich will create a bootable ISO image from a Windows XP or Windows2003 Install CD.
If you don't have CD to use then you can freely download Windows 2003 R2 trial from the Microsof site here:

You can use it as Source for your project and it will also allow to automatically boot and run straight from RAM - wich really speeds up your OS performance and allows to free the CD-ROM drive after boot.
Two projects are included:
The Standard Project is designed to create a 31~38Mb ISO file, wich contains Explorer as shell, Picture&Fax viewer, Small CD-Writer, Notepad, RegEdit, Task Manager, driver support for USB pendrives and the hability to boot and run from RAM when available.
PicoXP is a project targeted to create the smallest running Windows XP/2003 ™ possible. Achieving sizes around 14MB and still enabling full acess NTFS drives using cmd.exe as shell.
WinBuilder runs well on Windows XP/XP-64, Windows 2000/2003 machines and Vista RC1
Not tested yet on Windows 9x/ME and ReactOS.
How to start?
1 - Select the path to your Windows Install CD - go to the Paths window and choose a path in the %SourceDir% section.
Your build gets created much faster if these files are available on disk instead of reading them from CD.
2 - Press the run/play button and the build will start..

只是很不幸，我用WinXP SP2测试的结果，老是提示下图的错误！不知何故？制作的ISO经过WinXP登录界面后自动重启！


由于手边没有其他的盘可以测试，只能先作罢！

看起来好像有点搞头，下来看看。

这个软件bt啊，默认竟然把所有的文件都用upx压缩了！这样当然是启动不了。

我选择不压缩，用英文版的xp做源文件，创建了一个xpe，75M，好像已经是有网络的了。

说明：我在XP下没有成功，在2003系统里成功了！制作PE的母盘是 Win2003 RC2英文版！

不过还有点问题，用虚拟机测试时320M内存居然还提示内存不够！！不过还好，能够启动！但有可能部分功能不能用了

居然还支持无线网络？！（惭愧，找不到网络设置的地方！:'(）

还能即插即用？

最后说明一下，默认生成2个ISO，一个是光盘版，另外一个RAM版。大小只有52M ！
