这是一个能把Win98系统做到光盘上，用这张光盘能启动到win98下，无需硬盘！
就是不知道哪儿有下载的！

找遍了整个中英雅虎，除了官方链接以外，没有看到其他网站有任何介绍，看来这个软件使用的人不太多。

WinCDBoot evaluation version is henceforth only available to
PC manufacturers, software editors and companies that are interested
in WinCDBoot distribution.
To get WinCDBoot evaluation copy, it is now required that the user
signs a non disclosure agreement and a special evaluation agreement

Anyway, here is WinCDBoot 'HowTo':
1/ You install Windows 98 or Windows ME on a regular hard drive
2/ You run WinCDBoot setup.exe program. It creates a bootable
floppy and make a special directory that contain a mofified version
of your Windows configuration.
3/ You burn a Bootable CD-ROM. You provide your Burning Software
with the bootable diskette created in 2/ and you burn also to this cd-rom
every file that stand in the special directory created in 2/
(this directory can stand on another computer or can be copied on a zip
and thus you don't have to install a cd-rom burner (hardware and software)
on the PC you used to build the reference Windows installation).
That's all !
If the PCs can't use bootable cd-roms, you can boot them with
the bootable diskette made in 2/ and the burned cd-rom.
CD-Burning software:
We recommend the use of WinONCd or Nero. We had trouble with Adaptec
Easy CD Creator 3.x because it doesn't support bootable cd-roms
with joliet extension. We didn't try EZ CD Creator 4 yet.
WinCDBoot evaluation version expires on 15/11/2000. This means
that CD created by this version of WinCDBoot won't work after
this date (they won't be bootable anymore).

我很早以前就用NERO4.0.0.7刻过一张直接启动WINDOWS，不需要硬盘的启动光盘！

这种盘我也做过，可不知什么原因，出现启动提示就死掉了

win98 一启动就要写数据的（像注册表，页面文件等），光盘不能写，当然要出错了
除非改win98, 把所有的数据写到别的地方，

如果你的硬盘的其中一个启动分区的使用容量小于640M，那么在做启动光盘的菜单里，第一项[可启动逻辑驱动器]的里面就会多出那个分去的选项，选他，然后刻到盘上即可！
（注意，如果你没有使用容量小于640M的启动分区，那就不会看到其他选项）
还有，做这种盘时，最好去买一张CDRW，因为这种盘成功率很小……
我只做成功过98第一版，还有DOS，LINUX/UNIX等，至于98第二版，我还正在研究中！
做98时，一定要把虚拟内存关闭，否则在无硬盘或其他存储设备的情况下，似乎不可能做成功！

这与光驱速度有关，比如我的120X的光驱启动速度和硬盘基本没什么不一样；
而换成24X的，速度就有明显的变慢！

今天刻了一张98se的运行光盘，开始倒是成功了，可一启动就开始检测磁盘，后来格掉重来，还是在启动过程中出现问题了----要向c盘写文件，启动失败。
然后，又重装98，结果这次作的盘连启动都不行了,真得很奇怪。
刻录前一对系统作了调整，把所有向c盘写文件的项目都更改了
谁还有类似成功的经验，大家交流一下
我用的是LITE-ON 16102B+NERO 5.5.4

我刻的时候，98里面第三方软件只装了WINZIP、WINRZR、ACDSEE、REALPLAYER，其他的什么都没装！
然后启动WIN2000，然后启动NERO，然后选那个装了98的分区，然后开始刻……
注意：98装好后，一定要把虚拟内存去掉！

而且配置完全不能改变，要是能把他的注册表，*。ini等能改到别的地方就好了，不然没什么太大的作用。
只能在一台机器上用。
