If I just put them into partition X, they will disappear when I shut down Win10XPE, and I still cannot "Switch to Administrator" when I boot into Win10XPE next time.

You need check next option:
[Configures]-[Account]-[Enable Administrator account]

if you select the Home Edition, tsdiscon.exe and tscon.exe are missing in install.wim\[HOME INDEX]\Windows\System32\, so you have to copy them from WinSxs by yourself.

if you select the Pro Edition, tsdiscon.exe and tscon.exe exist in \Windows\System32\,
WimBuilder2 will add them to X:\Windows\System32\.

I am running an English version of Windows 10. In the screenshot below, under the WIM file path "K:\sources\install.wim", there are three question marks "???" next to the text "Windows 10". I don't know whether "???" represents "Home Edition" or "Pro Edition" or something else. How can I make it display words instead of question marks "???"?

直接自动安装了，再安装其他驱动就不能了。更改驱动也得重启才能生效。

這個好像從 20H1 的版本就都是這種情況
用立邦電子的WINPE生成器3.2版 . 勾不勾選基本顯卡 , 都會自動安裝基本顯卡驅動


不過用WINPE生成器3.3版則是正常
x86 要處理 drvinst.exe 及 pnpui.dll




x64 要處理 drvinst.exe

是不是主要是换pnpui.dll。看起来是10240的PNP

Your are right. I copied "ampa.sys" into "X:\Windows\System32\ampa.sys". Then, the portable version worked.
Is it possible to put "ampa.sys" into the WIM file, so that I don't have to copy it manually?

Why not package it in your AOMEI_Protable.zip?
PASsistant.exe will auto load the driver.

The driver is not Windows system file, it maybe upgrade, so won't copy it,
you can add it yourself.

Or you can use "02-PEMaterial" to make it easy to be upgraded.

An English version of Windows 10 Can't show the traditional Chinese characters ...

You can use 7z.exe to open install.wim\
[1]\
[2]\
[3]\

check which one has \Windows\System32\tsdiscon.exe.

So you can select the [Index] of  install.wim to be it.


Or you can boot the PE that you built(zh-TW, SYSTEM account),
mount the ISO in PE.

Dism.exe /Get-WimInfo /WimFile:G:\source\install.wim /Index:1
Dism.exe /Get-WimInfo /WimFile:G:\source\install.wim /Index:2
Dism.exe /Get-WimInfo /WimFile:G:\source\install.wim /Index:3

to test it.

専業版 => Professional
企業版 => Enterprise

I can access the Internet via PPPoE connection on Win10XPE.
On installed Windows 10, the following command will start a PPPoE connection.(Rasdial "Broadband Connection" "Username" "Password")
On Win10XPE, it does not work. Is it possible to start a PPPoE connection via a command/script without having to enter the username and password via "rasphone.pbk"?

如果方便的話 , 是否可以順便研究一下 , 在另一個主題提到的遠端桌面連接 , 近端任務欄的問題
樓主的這個工具 , 製作的 win10 pe 可以 administrator 登入 , 連接遠端電腦 , 任務欄是近端
