pxe下的自动菜单还要建立dir.txt而且加载速度太慢。
不知道ls pd/有没有实现的可能，sratlf给chenall建议下吧。
如果能够实现，run批处理就更加完美了。

加载速度太慢的话可能是获取文件大小花的时间太长了  给你个测试板试试  需要的话可以在pxe时关闭这项功能

RUN --set-nosize=1 后面跟你pxe自动菜单的命令

这个没有办法，TFTP服务器没有提供这样的功能，你再历害也不可能实现。

写在一行就行了  要不RUN --set-nosize=1执行完了就跳到手动输入命令的地方了

找到原因了，dir.txt没有更新。1083楼的是可以的，放在一行，加载列表快了一点。也有几秒的时间。

这个是可以的，在内置菜单中去掉pxe detect，再加上PXE判断，直接configfile。
比如pxe菜单为/BOOT/GRUB/PXE.LST，则内置菜单将pxe detect替换为：

checkrange 0x21 read 0x8280 && pxe keep && configfiel (pd)/BOOT/GRUB/PXE.LST

用了1月9日的RUN
title [2] 加载 ISO 镜像[FIRA MEM]
set front=--mem
command RUN --fira --show.ISO ()/BOOT/IMGS/
显示：
no such command：--show.ISO

加上 --automenu以后
command RUN --fira --automenu --show.ISO ()/BOOT/IMGS/
可以正常生成菜单。
怎么回事？ --automenu不能省略了么？

command RUN --automenu --show.IMA.IMG.LST ()/BOOT/IMGS/
生成菜单以后运行RUN[ZXW].LST文件，提示：
error 25： disk read error
这些问题在1222+版本上都没有，

恩  一个是因为简化标签  还一个是因为要加入自动列表的原因  还没确定最后的结构  因此暂时不支持这种写法

等自动列表全部完成后  标签数还宽裕的话再加上

很奇怪的问题  同样的命令  在命令行下逐行执行就可以  在脚本中就出问题。。。

i want to ask feq questions about your RUN batch , as i like it very much , specially its SWAP EXT feature.

1- can the location of RUN file be changed to anything else then BOOT/IMGS or whatever hardcoded path is ?

like

SRNP/IMAGES

?

2- can RUN file be used to run a IMA file along with the iso ?

like   

RUN /SRNP/IMAGES/XP_INST.IMA  ISO=/SRNP/IMAGES/XP.ISO

?

means , custom location of both files , and custom IMA file ? ,

3- does ISO=/XP.ISO  means that it will work just like find--set-root ? means will it search for the ISO file on all roots available ?

and i am looking for the hybrid solution , means one entry for both cd and usb drive.


really love your batch file , when it displays the hdd information, this way BOOT.INI is written correct.

1, yes, u can locate the RUN file in any folder, just change the command, for example, in SRNP/IMAGES folder

    command /SRNP/IMAGES/RUN ......

2,  u can use this command, RUN --fira:/SRNP/IMAGES/XP_INST.IMA  ISO=/SRNP/IMAGES/XP.ISO

    will use the /SRNP/IMAGES/XP_INST.IMA instead of the /BOOT/IMGS/FIRADISK.IMG

3, RUN will search the file on current root device, and then c, h, p, u devices, u can have a try,

   or, u can use the --dev parameter to specify the devices where u want to search the files

can it be in same line , like

or, u can use the command as below

set usrpath=/SRNP/IMAGES/
command /SRNP/IMAGES/RUN --fira:XP_INST.IMA  iso=XP.ISO

RUN --dev= parameter has the same effect as the GRUB4DOS find --devices=

c is for cd device, h is for hdd device, p is for pxe device, u is for ud device

u can use command  RUN --dev=hu etc.  to search the file only on hdd and ud

where FIRADISK native will not be needed as we already have XP_INST.IMA.
but then we will have to modify F6SRS code to remove firadisk .

after user select required SRS ,the xp iso start booting.

and if it is successful , we can add SRS parameter to Boot PE iso as well.

i know ,you already support SRS ,but it is with .IMG  file only. is it possible to add SRS directory support .

where SRS is in BOOT/GRUB or where RUN file is.

i am very pleased to have many foreign friends like it :)

about the srs, it is hard to say, due to grub4dos dose not support the zip file directly, we have to use use the img file

and i am not familiar with the automatic generation of srs fd, a little hard to add the directory support
