Why not use "ImDisk"?
1. If you use the "Ramstatus.exe", you can automate the size of the "ImDisk" from of RAM.
2. You can install the programs "wim" on "ImDisk" (read only)!

I suggest to try and external drivers VIDEO(ATI, Intel,NVidia) and NET(LAN,WLAN) for Win8PE (x86) and Win8PE (x64):

Drivers for Windows 7 and Windows 8 (universal).
Automatic installation of 7z archives.
You can transfer NET drivers in one folder, then they will automatically be installed VIDEO and NET.

For x64 need to enable test mode in the BCD.
