AOL将提供免费.com域名

AOL宣布将为用户免费提供.com域名. AOL没有给出具体时间, 不过大概是9月份. 这是一个非常吸引人的想法, 我们知道互联网绝大部分是免费的, 不过免费提供域名还是首次.

由于之前AOL的服务多是收费的, 包括电子邮件都收费, 导致AOL的用户大量流失, AOL也已经是今非昔比. 最近我们频繁看到AOL推出多种免费的服务, 其中有免费的电子邮件, 免费5G存储空间, 免费杀毒软件. AOL希望以此挽回用户.

其实现在基本上已经没有什么好的域名了, 希望以后注册域名能够像注册电邮那么简单且免费.

不管怎样AOL正在改变.
