The seven-year-old: "Father is great, he knows everything."
The fourteen-year-old: "It seems that sometimes he is wrong."
The twenty-year-old: "His thoughts are out of date."
The twenty-five-year-old: "The old father knows nothing at all."
The thirty-five-yea-old: "If father was as wise as I am now, he would have become a millionaire."
The forty-five-old: "I am not sure whether I should discuss this matter with father, maybe he will give me some advice."
The fifty-five-year-old: "It is a pity that father is dead. To be frank, some of his ideas are quite good."
The sixty-year-old: "My beloved father, you are a man who knows almost everything. It is a pity that I understand you so late."

七岁的时候："爸爸是个伟大的人，他什么都知道。"
十四岁的时候："好像爸爸有时也犯错误。"
二十岁的时候："老爸的思想已经过时了。"
二十五岁的时候："老爸什么都不懂。"
三十五岁的时候："如果爸爸当年有我现在这么聪明，他早就成为百万富翁了。"
四十五岁的时候："我不知道是否应该和父亲商量一下这件事，也许他会给我一些建议。"
五十五岁的时候："很遗憾，父亲已经去世了。坦率地讲，他的有些主意的确不错。"
六十岁的时候："我亲爱的爸爸，你是一个几乎无所不知的人，只可惜我太迟认识到这一点了。"
